ELEC-CAR SPORT TYPE
The term elec-car is a generic term for electric vehicles utilized in space colonies, lunar cities, and military bases. These pollution-free elec-cars were developed as a mode of transportation to keep the air clean, which is especially crucial in space colonies and lunar cities. M Co. is known for being the so-called standard type elec-car manufacturer. The company achieved a high level of compatibility between the miniaturization of elec-cars and running performance. They were aggressive in adopting advanced technology, and the small, sporty off-roader type of electric car depicted above that appeared in the 0070s was the first personal use model to be equipped with a navigation system that is linked to markers inside a colony. Engineering plastics are used as the materials for this two-seater, which is M Co.’s typical model. The model actively adopts an open roof style. Although classified as a “sports type,” the maximum speed is 40km/h. While it seems inconvenient, it’s not within the narrow confines of a colony. To be more precise, when speed exceeds 50km/h, there is an extreme decrease in maneuverability due to the Coriolis force. As gas-powered vehicles are rarely seen in these times, solar cells have been developed as generation engines.
