Instructors and classmates; many people’s lives are lost due to the treachery of “Committee” member Forma. In battle, the awakened Asuna shoots down 5 mobile suits, but her precious Shinn was killed in action. Learning the cause of his death, Asuna flees Ecole. <\/em><\/span><\/span>

With Shinn dead and her mind opened by Erisia, Asuna flees “Ecole” in despair, joining the ex-Zeon pirates under Marie. With new friends watching over her, like the war orphan Juna and mechanic Pops, Asuna learns about life and hardship. After being caught up in a kidnapping incident by the Titans on Side 6, they participate in testing for a stolen Gundam Mk-II for the AEUG on the moon. The Titans, in pursuit of Marie and Asuna, take Asuna’s mother Haruka hostage and lay a trap to tie up all loose ends. In the face of overwhelming military force, Marie dies, and the pirates are destroyed. <\/span><\/em>
