The Traitor to Destiny sets out to tell a different tale than the original AoZ: The Flag of Titans; the setting and story are unrelated. The Flag of Titans, which as the title implies follows a Titans officer, shares no unique characters or mecha. What the two stories do share is a grounding in Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam. This title follows the story of three youths in its own way. This is a collaboration between GUNDAM.INFO and Dengeki Hobby Magazine; the story is published on GUNDAM.INFO, while Dengeki Hobby contains info on the suits and how to build them yourself. New chapters are published on GUNDAM.INFO on the 25th of each month, and typically remain freely viewable for three months. Dengeki Hobby publishes excerpts and dioramas. Watch as the curtain rises on a new AoZ!

Chapter.13: Newfound Strength
The Keraunos sunk, Ernest and the other former crew of the Nicosia ascend to outer space. Van follows, seeking traces of Danica, now a prisoner of the Titans. On the Rosa Gigantia, a La Vie en Rose-class dock ship operated by Anaheim Electronics, he receives newfound strength—a Gundam! In the “Widowmaker” no other test pilot could control, Van soars to a new battlefield!
Chapter.14: Premonition
Having seized the Salamis Kai-class ship “Delphi“, Van and the others set sail for an AEUG asteroid base in hopes of recruiting a crew. The Delphi is drawn into the war between the AEUG and the Titans. Van is on patrol when his Gundam is attacked by a Titans Marasai. Piloting the Marasai is none other than Commander Bader…
Chapter.15: Encounters and Reunions
Van, aboard the Delphi, participates in a prisoner exchange at the neutral colony Morgarten. After the ceasefire, he enters battle with Ernest and the Eltria in the surrounding space. Obino and Avie, in their first encounter with Cyber Newtypes and the Gabthley, are shot down, an ominous sign of how the odds are stacked.
Chapter.16: Hope
The Delphi embarks on course for a rendezvous with the Radish. On its way, it is attacked by the Titans. An AEUG squadron sorties to do battle. However, Lucian’s suit is struck by a beam from a Gabthley and destroyed. The pilot of the Gabthley is none other than Rossweisse, retuned as a Cyber-Newtype…
Chapter.17: The Battle for Konpeitoh
The Delphi participates in the battle to capture Konpeitoh, the Titans stronghold. Although Van decided to fight with the “Gundam” at Konpeitoh, standing before him in the mammoth mobile armor Rakushasa piloted by Lieutenant Commander Bader. Just then, Danika, who had been captured, starts a battle with the uprising forces within the stronghold…

The Delphi was on the verge of joining up with the Radish when they come under attack by a Titans unit. the AEUG’s MS team launches to intercept. However, Lucien’s unit takes serious damage from a direct hit by a Gabthley shot. The one who shot was Rossweisse, who completed her readjustment as a Cyber Newtype…
Chapter.19: Arrow of Light
Van and the others transfer to the new Irish-class battleship Arion to begin their patrol mission in Side 2. In the sector, Van and company engage in another battle with Ernest’s team called the “Ghost of Hatte”. The Gundam Kestrel equipped with the Maneuver Exterior and Ernest’s Gabthley Fugin battle in the high speed area. The moment the two tried to end it, they witness an unbelievable spectacle before their very eyes.
Chapter.20: The Beginning of the End
Prior to the collusion of Axis and the former A Baoa Qu, Ernest and company leave Luna II to make preparations to break through the surrounding AEUG. Meanwhile, Van and the others along with their mothership Areion prepared for their blockade operation of the Gate of Zedan. In the midst of it, Lieutenant Commander Bader attacks the Kestrel in a reconstructed Rankushasa!
Chapter.21: Walls of the Heart
The Titans separate into the Bask faction and Scirocco faction upon word of Jamitov Hymem’s death and no longer function as a standing army. Despite that, Ernest vows to stay and fight with the Titans for his comrades and Rossweisse. Meanwhile, Van wishes save Ernest and Rossweisse somehow. In a chance encounter on the battlefield, he risks his life to try and persuade Rossweisse…
Chapter.22: Titanomachy
When the AEUG made preparations to fire the colony laser toward the Titans, part of the Tel Aviv fleet led by Commander Nishizawa ordered Ernest to launch with a new unit to carry out final adjustments to Rossweisse as a final plan to recapture Gryps 2. Meanwhile, Lieutenant Commander Bader’s Rakushasa, defeated in a coordinated attack by Van and Danica, starts a battle with Obino and Avy’s fleet!
Chapter.23: Between Eras
While the tide of the war was almost decided by the destruction of the Titans, the Tel Aviv squadron led by Commander Nishizawa, in a last ditch effort, plans a nuclear strike on the surface with the mobile armor Hati. Van and Danica, aware that Ernest and Rossweise are at the heart of the executing the plan, begin their attack on the squadron with the full armor Kestrel and Nemo D to stop them!
Chapter.24:
Van and Danica, along with Areion who is tasked with stopping the Hati’s nuclear attack, continue their deadly battle with the Titans remnant Tel Aviv detachment. Meanwhile, Ernest, awaiting launch preparations, is determined to take down Van’s Gundam [Kestrel] with everything he’s got. The final battle unfolds in low Earth orbit!
CHARACTERS
【登場人物】
Van Asiliaino: A cadet attending the Earth Federation Forces military academy. He’s quiet and not at all belligerent. His enrollment in the academy is due to various circumstances surrounding money and lifestyle aspects. His father was a battlefield cameraman who died during the Delaz Conflict leaving him with no family or relatives to call on. He has a sibling-like relationship with Ernest and Danika from a neighboring house. He is pursued by the Titans after obtaining image data on the Colony 30 incident. Age 18 (0085).
Ernest McGuire: Works as a teaching assistant at the military academy that Van and Danika attend. He loves Van like a true younger brother and looks after him no matter what.Age is 23 (as of 0085).
Danika McGuire: Attends the same military academy as Van. Although the same age as Van, she has a meddling sense like that of an older sister.

Hewitt Reines: Rank of Captain. Member of the Titans pursuing the Keraunos. Pilots a GM Quel. Seems like an honest individual.

Gisele Albert
An officer belonging to the Earth Federation Forces “Titans”. As Ernest and company’s senior officer, she is also the captain of the Nicosia, a Heavy Fork-class land battleship. Always cool and collected, she doesn’t neglect her subordinates. She attended the same military academy as the commander of the MS team Lieutenant Reines, so there’s something more than a superior-subordinate relationship. Her rank is Lieutenant Commander.
【エセルバート・ヒンカピー少尉】
Ethelbert Hincapie
As a subordinate of Reines, he’s a colleague of Ernest. He devotes himself to logistical support, excelling in reconnaissance abilities though rarely participates in battle firsthand. A cheerful character that cracks jokes at any time, he’s the mood maker of the Reines team. He’s the so called older brother of Rossweisse. His rank is Ensign.

Ewen Bader
A Titans mobile suit pilot assigned to the Nicosia as a watchdog for Captain Albert and Lieutenant Reines who are aware of the truth behind the “Colony 30 incident”. He’s willing to sacrifice comrades in order to win, all the while feeling pleasure of exchanging lives through mobile suit combat. His rank is Lieutenant Commander.

Captain of the Zanzibar-class cruiser and leader of the anti-Titans organization “Keraunos.” Although he was a former mobile suit pilot, he remained on Earth after the One Year War, dedicating himself to guerrilla activities. He always puts the lives of his subordinates before his making him a very kindhearted leader.

Keraunos ace and mobile suit team commander. Former Principality of Zeon pilot. He participated in a retreating battle under Volker during the One Year War. Following the conclusion of the war, he doesn’t return to the homeland and instead gets married and has a daughter. A good boss who looks after Van and Danika both on and off the battlefield.

Avey Alva
Born into a founding family of associate company of Anaheim Electronics, she was raised comfortably on the lunar surface with little influence from the One Year War. Seeing the truth behind the unending conflict in the Earth Sphere, she volunteers to become a mobile suit pilot in the AEUG. She pilots a Methuss unit aboard the Delphi. She believes Ensign Obino is a coworker she can easily banter with.

Souichi Obino
Former member of the Titans and GM Quel pilot. After being shot down by Lucien and the other members of the Keraunos team, he deserts the Titans after viewing a vid file of the Colony 30 incident. He’s currently aboard the Delphi as a pilot of a Rick Dias. Even now he has a rivalry toward Lucien and Van. Deep down he is a an honest, young officer.

Cristian Kirk
A veteran soldier who participated in Operation Star One with a GM during the One Year War. Although he was a mobile suit instructor at a military academy following the war, he opposed the Titans tyranny and joins the AEUG. He is captain of the seized ship Delphi. His way of fighting is theoretical due to only higher officers receiving regular training education. Single.
