CHAPTER.01
DESTINY IS SET IN MOTION
It’s been roughly six years since the end of the One Year War. Van and Danica devote themselves to studying at an Earth Federation Forces military academy that Ernest works at as a teaching assistant.
During Christmas break, Van returned home to his parents place where he was visited by a friend of his late father a former battlefield cameraman. The man gives Van a recording without any explanation and leaves as if he were running away. When he played back the contents of the suspicious recording, it was data footage of the Colony 30 incident. Van is astonished at the gravity of it all.
When he returned to school the next day to consult with Ernest about it, he was told that he was taking a leave for a few days. Danica felt suspicious over Van’s situation. She began listening to an outline of the matter from him. “No matter what, I believe you.” she told Van after viewing the footage.
Several days later a group of Titans visited the academy. They confine Van and resort to violence to get information out of him as to the whereabouts of the recording, but Van has faith in Danica’s words and doesn’t disclose anything. Irritated by this, the group of Titans attempt to transfer him to their base, but as he’s being taken to the transport, mobile suits of unknown origin attack. Van is rescued by a mysterious organization and managed to escape with Danica.
