The Sadalahn is a third generation flagship constructed for the Neo Zeon fleet. The first generation was the Gwadan-class and the second generation was the Gwanban-class. Although smaller than the Gwanban, it is possible for the ship to be utilized within the atmosphere. For atmospheric reentry purposes, it is equipped with a ballute system. The ship operates via Minovsky Craft under gravity. The ship has many notable features to it. The Sadalahn utilizes a dummy structure located where the bridge on a normal ship would be. This is to reduce attacks on the actual bridge. However, it is unclear how much effect this truly had. The actual bridge structure is located in the center of the hull, something that is quite unusual for a ship of this period.
The ship is equipped with heavy weaponry. Cannons are positioned with two at the top, one on either side of the ship, one at the bottom of the ship and one at the rear. However, their overall firepower is inferior to that of the Gwadan and Gwanban-class. In addition to the main guns, the Sadalahn is equipped with numerous anti-aircraft (laser) guns and missile launchers on various parts of the hull. Although there were few opportunities to participate in combat, it is equipped with ample firepower as a battleship.
The main engines of the ship are mounted on either of the blocks that protrude from either side of the hull on the rear of the ship. Energy is supplied for use within the ship as well as for necessary thrust for navigation. A total of eight large thrusters (four on each of the blocks) are arranged as if sandwiching the main thruster located in the center of the ship. This illustrates the high navigability of the ship.
The ship is also said to be equipped with a Komusai atmospheric return capsule below the bow. However, since there are no records regarding its use, detailed functions are unknown.
Due to the abundance of space, the placement of the seats is quite spacious. Located in the rear portion (right side of the image) is a raised seat. This is the captain’s chair. On the left side of the image, in the forward portion are seats for helm and operators.
The mobile suit deck is located below the main bridge. Maintenance on mobile suits is conducted here.

Anti-aircraft laser cannons are positioned in various spots across the hull. They intercept enemy mobile suits approaching the ship.
