In a strategic bid to market to the Federation Forces, SNRI scaled down mobile suits, resulting in the development of the Gundam F series, which was eventually adopted as the next mainstay mobile suit. Def and Sid, integrated into the military’s experimental unit, became the test pilots for the first two units of the F90 series. Amid a series of troublesome tests, the unexpected happened: mobile suit forces from the old Zeon suddenly appeared. The test units, devoid of any live armaments due to their experimental status, found themselves critically outmatched. While Sid managed a narrow escape, the second unit was inevitably captured!
