The RMS-179 GM II served as a testbed for weapons later adopted by the Titans faction, including the fedayeen rifle and shock wire. Its selection for this role was due to its status as one of the Earth Federation’s most widely produced and versatile mobile suits at the time. Reflecting its primary purpose in Titans’ weapons development, the unit sported their signature dark blue color scheme. The prototype fedayeen rifle initially featured a folding grip designed to accommodate both ranged combat and close-quarters engagements. However, this design was later omitted in the official version following technological input from the Jupiter Fleet. The shock wire underwent several iterations.
