MSN-001Y DELTA GUNDAM ANSE
The lineage of transformable mobile suits (TMS) that began with the MSN-001 Delta Gundam evolved through the mass-production prototype MSN-001A1 Delta Plus, leading to the development of the MSN-001X Gundam Delta Kai, which aimed to demonstrate specialized equipment technologies. While the MSN-001X boasted impressive performance capabilities, its most notable feature was the n_i_t_r_o system. This innovation allowed even regular pilots to operate funnels. However, the classified nature of the n_i_t_r_o system’s specifics raised eyebrows among many observers. In response, the MSN-001Y Gundam Delta Anse was designed as a variation in the MSN series that doesn’t incorporate psycommu-based systems. It retains the transformation mechanism perfected in the MSN-001A1, while mounting a large, deployable thruster unit on its back that allows for output adjustment as needed. Its main armament is the long mega buster, which received high praise during the MSN-001X’s technology demonstration. To supplement defensive capabilities in mobile suit form, an I-field generator is installed within the shield.
