Over the years a vast majority of our releases have ended up on manga sites on the net. I really have to stress that our releases should not be put up on those sites. Whenever we do batch releases or tankouban editions there are numerous corrections to old translations as well as grammatical errors which ultimately affect the flow of the story and whatnot. So I really have to stress not adding them to these websites. While it may be a futile battle, I really want the best for the community and the only way to ensure that is through our control, which is why we have our own gallery. If worse comes to worst, we may end up resorting to releasing via our gallery and nix the direct downloads in the end.

I’m writing to you folks to kindly remove several series from your website that my group has released. According to your terms of service, a user who uploads a particular chapter or series to your website must “own or have the necessary licenses, rights, consents, and permissions” in order to do so. As such, I’m writing to indicate that none of the following series have been authorized by me to be uploaded to your website:

Gundam X: Under the Moonlight
Kidou Senshi Crossbone Gundam Ghost
Kidou Senshi Gundam – Gyakushuu no Char – Beyond the Time

Mobile Suit Gundam SEED X AstrayAs a result, Under United States copyright law, translations are considered “derivative works” of the original material on which they are based. As a result the translation stands apart from the original work and is eligible for copyright protection independent of the original work. And as such, the aforementioned series fall under ownership of my group and myself as I personally worked on a vast majority of them.
So, I would like to ask you kindly to please remove them from the public domain that you are displaying them on as they were not authorized to be uploaded in the first place.
