UNIT EXPOSITION
Although it can be said that the Gundam AGE-1 Razor is an evolution of the Gundam Age-1 Spallow, the key difference lies in its method of operation, which is to resolve the Gundam Spallow’s greatest weakness: the low wear resistance of the Shiguru blade. Whereas the Spallow achieved its so-called “sharp cutting ability” from its lightweight body and added thrusters, the Razor, which handles a razor blade with huge mass, achieves such profound slashing force or striking force by using inertial force of the blade itself. Due to that, extremely advanced control skills are required of the pilot. For example, it may be impossible for the Razor to fly straight if one does not have data processing abilities like that of an X-Rounder. The razor blades on both elbows can be treated as hand-held weapons. By connecting the two to form a razor boomerang, it’s possible to use it as a throwing weapon.
ARMAMENTS
■ RAZOR BLADES: Each forearm is equipped with a pair of large swords. The cutting part has increased in size by utilizing technology similar to the Shiguru Blade. In addition to the forearm mount, it is equipped on a manipulator thus becoming a pair of swords. When connected they for a razor blade.
■ LEG RAZOR BLADES: The razor blades equipped on the front shins dramatically increases the effectiveness of the leg’s offensive capabilities. Has the ability to make a versatile slashing attack when linked to the arm’s razor blades.
