BACKGROUND
This was a desert version of the famous MS-06 Zaku II developed by the former Zeon forces. Its mechanisms were reinforced to dustproof it and enable it to hide under the sand. During the One Year War, Africa was in chaos. Following the war, the Desert Zaku served as the main weapon for the guerrilla war specialists who survived. It could use optional jet skis. When attached to its feet, these let it glide freely over the sand. Although this was an old machine left over from the former Principality of Zeon forces, it was well adapted to the unique desert environment. Its ability to use its abilities in combat was further honed over the long years. Together with the heroes of the African front, it fought well against the latest machines and showed the latent potential of the Zaku, the symbol of Zeon.
