A new transport constructed to replace the Papua. Although cruising range and mobile speed are comparable to the Papua, the payload is somewhat broader and a significant amount of goods can be transported at one time.
The forward and rear containers are separated by a unique shape. The forward container houses men and provisions while the rear container stores weapons and maintenance equipment. While the portion that connects the forward and rear containers resembles a bridge, this is just another container. The bridge is actually the projection that juts upward from the rear section.
Together with the Papua-class, these ships served as supply transports during the One Year War. Unlike the Papua-class which was said to originally be constructed as a missile battleship, the Pazock was designed as a transport and lacks weapons, which gives the ships structure its simplicity.
Although these ships are said to be able to carry 60 mobile suits, which is basically the carrying capacity, they do not have the equipment to make use of this.
