Lieutenant Thane Amadio is a former space fighter pilot turned mobile suit pilot. He survived both the battle of Solomon and the battle of A Baoa Qu. He became a veteran pilot during the Gryps War, and it would seem that he moved to the AEUG side with the unit he was affiliated with at the time.
During the war with Haman, he actively participated in anti-Neo Zeon operations and is said to have also participated in the failed Axis capture operation. He was planning on participating in the battle near Core 3, but this never happened because the Earth Federation Forces and AEUG’s joint fleets got off to a late start.
