THE WHOLE PICTURE OF SNRI’S FORMULA PROJECT
THE WHOLE PICTURE OF SNRI’S FORMULA PROJECT
◎ ABOUT THE F-SERIES
SNRI’s F-Series is denoted as Formula (standard) but it also implies that fighter development project is included as well (fighter=next generation mobile suit).
◎ ABOUT THE F-SERIES CODES
[F90]
NEXT GENERATION MAIN MOBILE SUIT PROTOTYPE
* Prototype with hard points and other fire control systems.
* 2 units manufactured (Shown with I & II).
* Unit 2 will undergo further upgrades (demonstrated with F90-IIB)
[F70]
COMBAT SUPPORT TYPE MOBILE SUIT PROTOTYPE
* A simplified mass production prototype based on the F90’s data. Following this, it was mass produced as the F71 by Anaheim Electronics.
[F71]
MASS PRODUCTION SUPPORT MOBILE SUIT
* The F70 is mass produced by sharing parts of the RGM-109 Kai and RGM-111.
* It is also designed to be able to operate as a general purpose mobile suit by swapping out the hard points equipment.
* F70B G-Cannon Magna has enhanced output and firearms.
[F91]
NEXT GENERATION MOBILE SUIT
* High-performance mobile suit said to be an integrated type of the F90’s fire control system.
* Operational testing could not be carried out because the final adjustments to the bio computer were delayed.
* SNRI only provided the F90’s fire control system but the bio computer was not disclosed. This is because SNRI considered controlling mobile suit production.
* The development of miniturized mobile suits sees an uptick with the support of the private sector (AE, Buch). This resulted in the opposite of what the Federation Forces and SNRI intended.
☆ In addition, according to SNRI, the F80 series was also planned with the goal of being positioned as a general purpose mass production type mobile suit (successor of the Heavygun).
○F90 Series: Mainline (Combat Type) Mobile Suit
○F80 Series: General Purpose Mass Production Type Mobile Suit
○F70 Series: Support Mobile Suit
○F60 Series: Local Combat Type Mobile Suit (due to the performance improvements of the F90 and F70 series, it is discontinued in everything but its code number)
○F50 Series:
An AFV-type mobile suit with a fusion reactor as a generator. There was a high-ranking official within the Federation Forces that claimed the effectiveness of Guntanks even during these times. The R-44, which was in the personal collection of Roy Jung, was one such vehicle that was planned according to this development plan (it’s believed that it is a personal refurb type of the F50D).
Therefore, the ongoing plan will consist of three series: the F70, F80 and F90.
As the development progresses, the suits evolve from the F90 to F91 to F92. According to the development concept, when the end digit reaches 9, a new code will be designated (Although the codename is unknown, one theory suggests starting from F01).
