Originally published in B-CLUB Vol.130 under the title of “300km Through Enemy Lines,” this standalone comic was republished in Volume 2 of the Moon Crisis comic only this time the title was changed to “Deserter Under Fire.” It was assumed that the character appearing in the manga is Tau Lin, the mastermind from the Moon Crisis comic, however in a tweet from 2016, Matsuura clarified that it isn’t him at all. The story was based around the setting material from the MG Zaku that had just been released.
