A completed prototype for the AEUG which introduced new technology by disassembling and analyzing a Gundam Mk-II captured from the Titans. By overhauling the structure of the movable frame and utilizing Gundarium alloy, the Gundam Mk-III was perfected and was said to have been the latest evolution of general purpose mobile suits due to the concept which focused on returning to the starting point of mobile suits: organic movement, similar to that of the human body. Several Gundam Mk-III units were produced with the intent of gathering various data. Among those produced, Unit 8 was finished off with a low-cost method by adding anti-beam coating which was even used on the MSN-00100 Hyaku Shiki. It was given a red coating with the intention of making it Quattro Bajeena’s new suit.
