Thunderbolt Vol 6 started it all… and now everything is gone. All that is rather amusing considering they somehow managed to link to folders that contain works that I haven’t made available to the public nor officially released under ZS. It’s only taken, oh, 12 years for this to happen on a large scale, but it does make for an interesting attempt at continuing to release things. Guess I’ll just have to move to Mega now for releases.
Then again, I did file a counterclaim asking them to prove they have a license for English release of everything they flagged on my account. Which, if true, would mean that they licensed every Gundam manga in existence and would have to prove that:
Company needs to provide proof that infringing titles are indeed a copyright violation by providing documentation they have rights for an English release. “Gundam Series” is a highly vague and ambiguous claim to copyright and extends beyond the scope of the company as they are releasing DVD and Blu-ray material and not comic books, which is what this is, a personal collection kept online.

December 31st, 2015 deackychu Just a bit of a random update as I get my copy of this book in, but I’ve added a database entry for “Mobile Suit Z Gundam Jerid’s Deployment Orders”. Originally a game book released by Keibunsha in 1987, it was later re-released from Bandai in 1989. The Bandai version differs slightly in some regards to the original, namely with MS model numbers but is considered to be the definitive version. The main character is Jerid Messa and chronicles his time as a Titans cadet. The story is lighter than other game books but the content offers a high degree of freedom. It is famous for its large number of original mecha that appear in it. You can view the entry here.

I’ve been trying to find some information on lesser known Gundam titles as of late and finally managed to track down the old magazines that serialized this story. They’re en route from Japan so hopefully I’ll get to share them with you soon. In the meantime, I’ve updated the database with more accurate information on this particular gem of a series. April 11th, 2015 deackychu Bande Dessinee continues to surprise me with drawing out what happens in the novel as well as adding other things. If Yas had illustrated the manga version of Unicorn there’s no doubt that it would be far superior than the original novel.
For those wondering, Gibney was killed in the novel when the Sleeves occupy the Nahal Argama.
