MESSAGE TO THE GUNDAM GENERATION ①
A COLLECTION OF CONVERSATIONS WITH YOSHIYUKI TOMINO 

This volume is a rearranged selection of conversations originally featured in the monthly magazine Gundam Ace from its June 2003 issue through February 2006, specifically from the series Good Day, Mr. Tomino and Please Teach Me, Mr. Tomino. While details such as individuals’ ages, titles, and numerical data generally reflect their status at the time of the original publication, some elements have been updated as of July 2011. Additionally, the piece titled “How Tomino Was Made,” included at the end of this volume, is a re-edited version of content first published in the November 2008 issue of Gundam Ace.

Notation: While the text has been heavily edited from the magazine serialization, this hasn’t significantly impacted the content. However, the editing has removed some humorous moments, Tomino’s candid reactions, and the back-and-forth when interviewees were impressed by his sharp observations. Director Tomino’s post-interview reflections and book recommendations are not included.
